Description Yasuhiko Kamata 2007-10-05 08:26:00 UTC
When I select the Japanese language in boot options prompt,
underscore character is unable to input (ignored) even if an appropriate key was pressed.

The underscore character is needed to specify a driver name like as "ata_piix".

Sorry for providing a misunderstanding information.
This problem occurs at boot time (grub), that is before starting YaST.
Comment 3 Steffen Winterfeldt 2007-10-19 12:37:49 UTC
Yes, I know. The problem is that the BIOS ignores that key. For now please
switch to English for typing.
