Created attachment 177092 [details] hwinfo --gfxcard output installed via www2.ati.com 10.3 update channel ati-fglrxG01-kmp-default-8.41.7_2.6.22.5_30-1.1 x11-video-fglrxG01-8.41.7-5.1 did init 3 and ran SaX2 -r -m 0=fglrx and it fails to start the X server - tail of /var/log/Sax.log has ABI class: X.Org XInput driver, version 0.7 (II) Primary Device is: PCI 01:00:0 (II) ATI Proprietary Linux Driver Version Identifier:8.41.7 (II) ATI Proprietary Linux Driver Release Identifier: UNSUPPORTED-8.413.1 (II) ATI Proprietary Linux Driver Build Date: Sep 7 2007 22:36:05 (EE) No devices detected. Fatal server error: no screens found
