Description Graeme Houston 2008-02-07 15:50:34 UTC
openSUSE updater keeps poping up and saying:
"New Software for your system is available"
0 Security updates are available
Install 1 recommended update additionally (checkbox ticked)
by Clicking Install it appears to do its thing, downloading refreshing etc. However an hour later it will pop up with the same thing. Clicking 'details' reveals this patch to be an Amarok update: "Fixes to improve stability and playability with yauap" (version:) 4492-0. Selecting this Amarok patch and clicking instal again will result in update doing its thing, with a box at the bottom of the screen indicating progress. Later openSUSE updater will once again pop up and tell me about this update. I've installed this same update 10 times and it's never taken. Entered into YAST package management and manually refreshed Amarok. Updater continues to request installation of patch.
