At the start, I chose "Installation Media check" to test my disc opensuse 11.0b3.
Requirements:
-- 120GB HD: HDA
-- DVD: hdc (sr0 in the sysinfo 10.3)

I met 2 major problems:
-- I boot on DVDROM then I make a "check Installation Media". Yast no longer the DVD player / dvd?
-- Besides, my USB keyboard Logitech MX 3200 is no longer working in this utility. By cons, it works to boot.
So I had to test with another keyboard (PS2 Logitech Cordless Desktop EX110).

I have never been able to test the disk.

sounds very much the same kernel issue
