showing the problem, please look at the panel

Hi, this is a p4 I installed suse 11.0 on it has an AGP nvidia geforce 6200 using the driver 177.13 and compositing enabled.

When I use openoffice writer as shown in the picture, the panel at the bottom flashes and goes transparent, if I close openoffice or minimize or shade its windows the problem disappears.

Thanks!

One more thing, its interesting to note that this bug is more apparent when openoffice writer is open rather than calc for some reason.

Alright I think it only happens when openoffice.org's writer is open, it doesn't happen with any other app and neither with openoffice.org's other applications either.

Even in gnome with compiz fusion, nvidia, if I open openoffice writer the title bars flicker, in this case its the title bar, but in kde 4 its the panels.

Alright so its like this as long openoffice writer is open it seems like the entire plasma desktop is drawn more slowly or something for example the seconds hand on the plasma clock has slowed down, the comics widget fades and doesn't appear again quickly and the panel flickers.
