Description Albert Astals Cid 2008-06-22 18:40:19 UTC
OpenSUSE Updater Applet has a progress bar showing the progress of the currently downloaded/installed package, but what i really want is knowing if that is the package 3 of 4 or the package 3 of 1000. Please add this information with another progress bar or with a label or anyhow.
Comment 1 Thomas Göttlicher 2008-06-23 11:01:00 UTC
The progress information is provided by the package management system.

Are you using zypp-plugin or PackageKit-plugin for opensuse updater?
Comment 2 Albert Astals Cid 2008-06-23 12:49:05 UTC
How can i know?
Comment 3 Thomas Göttlicher 2008-06-23 12:55:17 UTC
Right-click the opensuseupdater-icon in the taskbar, click 'Configure Applet...'.
The configuration dialog tells you whether you are using 'ZYpp Plugin' or 'PackageKit Plugin'.

ZYpp backend, that is the one that came by default.
