Lokalize needs libqt4-sql-sqlite for the translation memory to work, but this package doesn't seem to be among the deps.

It also needs kdesdk4 (I think specifically the file 
/usr/share/strigi/fieldproperties/strigi_translation.fieldproperties) for the stats in the catalog manager to work. This package is also not installed as a dep.

The current kde4-lokalize package in Factory already requires kdesdk4 and current libqt4 packages recommend a ilbqt4_sql_backend while suggesting libqt4-sql-sqlite. Assuming that the problem is you ignoring recommends :-) I added a requires libqt4_sql_backend for kde4-lokalize now.

Now I get the following error messing when trying to actualize the system via zypper:

"Problem: nothing provides libqt4_sql_backend needed by kde4-lokalize-4.1.0-14.2.x86_64

Solution 1: do not install kde4-lokalize-4.1.0-14.2.x86_64

Choose the above solution using '1' or cancel using 'c' [1/C]:"

please add the KDE:Qt44 repository, this was post-11.0 GA fix.

Adding the KDE:Qt44 repository is not the right way. Please consider removing this fuzzy "requires libqt4_sql_backend" to something that will work (require or recommend) with libqt4-sql-sqlite package itself, cause now it is impossible to install the kde4-lokalize from standard repos, all of the above problem with "nothing provides..."

and besides, lokalize requires specifically _sqlite_ backend.
