Hello,

tried to move my data from KDE3.x to recent KDE4.1.x with no luck. Simply copying/renaming '.kde/' contents does not work. How to migrate data from KDE3's:
1. kmail/kabc/other kontact data
2. knotes
3. kopete
4. digikam
5. kgpg
6. kwallet
7. konqueror bookmarks/profiles
8. konsole profiles
...
to KDE4 relevant apps easily?

This is really show-stopper for KDE4 - i have 19Gb of data (mail/notes/contacts/photos/IM history) from last 5 years that i don't want to loose.

I used kde3to4 for that purpose.

It made the transition quite smoothly, so far I could not detect any failed migrations. Most important, KMail and all the pim stuff got converted correctly, as were my kopete accounts and kwallet setting. 

Maybe it could be packaged into the distribution, especially if KDE 3 is no more the default choice for 11.1?
