Description Atri Bhattacharya 2008-09-30 22:07:38 UTC
The YAST Software Installation module should be more responsive. Currently the software installer interface shows package download progress in discrete multiples (usually of 5%), and on clicking on abort (say), the abort operation only takes place after a further 5% has been fetched from the network. That is the entire GUI of the package manager updates itself only after every 5 % of the download is complete. May be this can be improved upon, so that on clicking on abort, the installer asks for the confirmation immediately. There are no such problems with the cli of zypper though.

Should be fixed in 11.1.
