Description Brandon Philips 2008-10-23 01:49:36 UTC
I have done two netinstalls of Beta3 and have encountered the extremely annoying pattern that the install stalls on an error dialog from YaST that reads:

Cannot access installation media
openSUSE-ftp 11.1-0 (Medium 1).
Check whether the server is accessible.

Download (curl) error for 'http://195.135.221.130/factory/repo/oss/suse/i586/SOMEPACKAGENAME.rpm
Error code: Connection failed
Error message: Couldn't resolve host 'mirrors.kernel.org'

Clicking "Retry" clears the dialog, downloads the package and continues the install. However, I have to sit and monitor for this dialog since it stalls the install.

Can an automatic retry be put in to the download routine to try downloading a few times in case of intermittent connectivity or mirror issues?

Thanks.
