There has been a bug report on this in the past already but I can't find it no longer: the column for the installed/available version in the YaST software module is too small ever since openSUSE 11.0 so that one always has to manually enlarge it in order to check for that essential information.

IIRC Katarina Machalkova has talked about having a fix for this already but it is still the same on Beta4 (installed from http://download.opensuse.org/factory/oss)

I would very much appreciate if the "old" behavior would come back in 11.1.

The screenshot clearly shows that the version column is always too narrow even if there is sufficient space to make it wider.

Yes, that´s true. And also column of "Summary", could be wider. But for example column of size of is too wide and it´s uselessly.
