When booting from CD into the install or rescue system on x86_64, the amd74xx driver gets loaded instead of pata_amd, and thus I end up with /dev/hdX instead of /dev/sdX devices. This setting also gets transferred into the system I install.

To get the behaviour from 11.0 back, I had to boot with brokenmodules=amd74xx .
