For clarification: the issue affects any remote storage device formatted with ntfs that does not have an entry set up under /etc/fstab. Effectively regular users cannot mount such filesystems without resorting to root priviledges to mount ntfs manually. Expected behaviour: ntfs mounting is transparent and automatic to regular users I have the same issue with the latest upgrades of the oS 11.1 RC1 version via internet.
