Description David Rankin 2008-12-23 05:21:40 UTC
Devs,

Attempting to configure 11.1 through the yast ncurses interface using the System -> /etc/Sysconfig editor on the System/Cron/DAILEY_TIME parameter to set the parameter to 0500, I ran across a bug with yast that prevents you from being able to set that value at all. Once the DAILEY_TIME is selected and Alt+e is pressed to access the setting of the value, you are presented with a text-listbox containing 'nothing' and a <blank> entry. See screenshot:

No matter whether you attempt to type a numeral, tab, alt+downarrow or enter or return, you are not able to enter a value for this parameter. In the past, you simple gave it a number and it would accept it. See 11.0 screenshot:

http://www.3111skyline.com/download/openSUSE_bugs/111/yast-syscon-DAILEY_TIME-11.0-640.jpg

It looks like somebody was going to design a list containing the hours 00-23 and just never put the values in.

Let me know if I can provide anything else.

Cyril,

This is the third attempt to upload the y2logs. I am leaving the "This attachment provides the needed information. Remove the status of NEEDINFO from this bug" blank because when I select it, the new bugzilla throws the following error:

"You are not allowed to change the bug status from NEEDINFO to NEW"

You will need to change the needinfo status.
Comment 3 David Rankin 2009-01-10 21:15:26 UTC
I'll try to change the needinfo status with this comment.

****NOPE****

Same bug:

You are not allowed to change the bug status from NEEDINFO to NEW.

Reassigning to yast2-sysconfig maintainer.
Comment 5 Ladislav Slezák 2009-01-12 16:13:33 UTC
This should have been fixed, probably did not go to the final release.
