working on it.
Comment 4 Holger Hetterich 2009-04-30 09:07:51 UTC
Ok this has waited a long time. I am sorry there where higher priority bugs around. I am working on the rest of the port now.
Comment 5 Francois van Heerden 2009-05-13 09:23:10 UTC
any luck with this
Comment 6 Holger Hetterich 2009-05-14 16:01:07 UTC
yes, I am on it. Currently replacing outdated pstrcpy calls and friends with reasonable talloc calls.

I am sorry for the late reply.

I now have a working vscan code tree for samba => 3.2.14, which I am now porting to older samba versions, which I am expecting to release into the suse packages very soon.

This will introduce some new features (and/or fixes) from a code point of view, which will eventually lead to a new version of the samba-vscan package ( as published by openantivirus.org). This includes the introduction of talloc to the code, and no longer being restricted to file paths shorter than 1024 bytes.

The version with which you had the bug is now obsolete. I'll close this as NORESPONSE. If you can still reproduce it in current 11.4, please reopen the bug and move it to the appropriate version. Thanks!
