Description Forgotten User b49zM5D78q 2009-03-19 19:55:30 UTC

In the package view of the YaST software installation tools it would be nice to have the columns widths - Package, Summary, Installed(Available) etc. - automatically optimal according to the initial windows size. Some proportional resizing of column widths would be even better. Nevertheless it should be possible to change the column width as before.

Currently, the columns are initialized with too small widths, for instance the Installed(Available) version column values are mostly not fully visible and I have to resize it manually all the time.

Reproducible: Always

Some nice example of initial optimal column widths and automatic column width resizing with resizing the whole windows is Krusader. It works ideally there and increases the usability.
