Description Radomír Černoch 2009-09-15 09:23:54 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090730 SUSE/3.5.2-3.4 Firefox/3.5.2

During the installation of 11.2 M7, the installer asks for "opening the firewall port for sshd". When the user clicks on "enable", the port is indeed opened, but the sshd service is not started (the symlinks in /etc/init.d/rc*.d/ are not created, starting sshd manually works fine).

I know it is possibly not a bug in a strict sense of the word. "Opening a port" does not imply "starting the service". Nevertheless I think it would be more intuitive if the installer started the service together with opening the firewall port. What's the point of asking the initial question then?

Reproducible: Didn't try
