Restart Opensuse 11.2 Milestone 8 when I press shutdown button. When I repeat the action second time then it shutdown the system

What happens the first time? Nothing at all, or does it do something like log out/go back to gdm?

Got a reply by mail: "Yes, exactly. log out, blank screen and then return to the desktop." (please reply on bugzilla, thanks :-))

So this is bug 540482. John, could you look at the last comment there to see if the new gdm packages solves the issue for you?
