Description Stephan Kleine 2009-10-11 18:17:46 UTC
Power devil is configured as default (standby after 20 minutes) but after locking my screen and being away for >30 minutes the screen is still on (it just gets turned black upon pressing the "lock" button).

I can confirm this. It does not work either on my MSI Wind netbook.

Hi there!

I'm helping with a cleanup of KDE bugs that are from obsolete versions or may no longer be valid. This is so the developers can focus on developing openSUSE 11.3

Here is some information about this:

***Stephen, I know there's been lots of fixes for power management so is this still a problem for you in 11.2 final?

Cheers
Steve

This still happens with updated 11.2 & KDE 4.4.1

I wonder if deleting the config files as commented here

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=198461#c6

would help?

Stephan, did you try deleting the config files per comment 4?
Comment 6 Stephan Kleine 2010-07-05 10:23:52 UTC
Works for me now (KDE 4.4.4).
