Description Robert Thomas 2009-10-25 04:22:44 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-us) AppleWebKit/531.2+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/531.2+ Epiphany/2.28.0 SUSE/2.28.0-1.2

GNOME exits to GDM login screen selecting shutdown or restart from "Shutting Down the Computer" menu. After exiting back to GDM login screen, neither shutdown or restart buttons work in GDM. If I press the power I get a menu that pops up and I'm able to select the appropiate method which finally does reboot or shutdown.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Login into GNOME from GDM
2. Select shutdown or restart from GNOME menu.
3. Wait.
Actual Results:
GNOME exits to GDM login screen.

Expected Results:
System shuts down or restarts.
