Description Forgotten User w4XUsT47_R 2009-10-29 15:40:42 UTC
Did an upgrade from openSuSE 11.1 to openSuSE 11.2 RC2 using the DVD. After the update the old kernel from 11.1 was still selected as default and booted. This cause the network, bluetooth, usb etc not to work.

It is located in /var/log/YaST2/ please attach all files from directory.
Also helps if you attach /etc/sysconfig/bootloader and your /boot/grub/menu.lst

it is duplicate of bug#551642

there is problem with initrd. During installation new kernel all initrds was recreated via mkinitrd. It could be problem of booting old kernel. :(
