The network card now appears as eth1 while the (11.1) config was for eth0. Resulting in no network after boot.

persistent names are handled by udev.

Please attach /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules

Just returned from FTO. Its my home machine, I cannot access it from the office ;-)

sysconfig creates invalid udev rules, merging with active bug ...
