kernel-desktop 2.6.31.12-0.1.1 is not able to poweroff machine.

Mainboard P4P800-VM, latest BIOS
Chipset Intel ICH5
CPU Intel P4,HT,3000MHz/800MHz/1MB Cache
3 GB RAM DDR

Older Kernels do poweroff the machine. I went back to kernel-desktop 2.6.31.8.

This one was reported previously in bug #578222. The fix will be available in
the next kernel update.
