Description Marvin Dean 2004-12-13 19:20:51 UTC
Designer should not be installed into the "documents
and settings" directory. We should install
to "Program files" directory and perhaps place the
workspace into "documents and settings". That is
how all windows programs get installed. Should also
prompt at that point if we want to install the
program for all user on the computer or just the
user that we are installing it as.
Comment 1 Bill Street 2004-12-15 18:11:12 UTC
Marvin- Tim Delaney suggested that we install to the users documents and
settings directory. He suggested this for non-admin users to be able to used
designer. IE. the workspace gets created where we are installed. Rajesh
previously installed to the program files\novell\designer directory right.
Comment 2 Bill Street 2004-12-15 21:27:36 UTC
Rajesh- Please investigate installing program files to program files and
projects defaulting to user home or documents and settings.
