Is there any legal reason to not include Intel firmware on installation media?

As far as I know, many Intel wireless cards just worked out of the box with previous openSUSE releases and 'ipw' firmware was shipped on installation media. Can we do the same with theirs 'iwl' firmware?

This is bug in the hwinfo. Your laptop is not detected correctly and kernel-firmware is not installed. Just install kernel-firmware. This rpm contains the firmware needed. This bug shall be fixed in MS8.

Rodamap tells that M7 is the last one. Next one is RC1.

Will it be some internal build only?

Do we have a fixed hwinfo package in repo already?
