Description Thorsten Kukuk 2010-05-31 10:17:37 UTC
I disabled "autoconfiguration" during 11.3M7 installation on my laptop. Laptop pattern is selected, but YaST2 suggests to use ifup and not NetworkManager.

2010-05-31 12:15:06 <1> priv-kukuk(4351) [YCP] Lan.ycp:790 Is a laptop: false

In Arch module there's is_laptop() function. You can simulate it by "hwinfo |grep formfactor" and see if output contains "desktop" or "laptop" string. Could you paste output of this command?

The command doesn't return anything. Attached the output of hwinfo.

Then reassigned to hwinfo maintainer.
