I have the sun java plugin installed, however I can not save images from Web sites, tested many, using the "right clik on the picture and save it as," when I run this operation nothing happens

Are you using Firefox under KDE?
And what's the version you currently use. The report contains pointers to 11.0 and 11.3.

Kde + Firefox
Ok! I used version 11.2 and 11.3, both with the same symptom.
I noticed that after running firefox-n on the island does function, but only this way, after reboot the pc back to the failures.

I have the same bug in Firefox 3.6.12.

Often the "Save Image as" option, not working. 

I have no other plugin activated, this option only works sometimes. T_T

NOTE:

I tested this problem in Firefox 4 beta with KDE 4.5, but are the same results.
