Case 2 (this means OpenOffice) is a duplicate of bug 575182 What is Case 2? I am told "You are not authorized to view case 2" Case 2 is the problem OpenOffice? Which seems still to exist according to bug 575182. Does the problem with Firefox also still exist with 12.1? From what I've seen any attempt to access a file which is on a remote location (aka opened by a kio process nfs (not pre-mounted), sftp, ftp, smb result in a message, only local file are supported. Will give a screen shot Created attachment 474060 [details]
No remote file can be selected by a gtk application under kde4
Trying to pick a remote file on non kde apps lead to "you can only select local files"
Sorry forget to set the needinfo with the attachment Ok as written above, this is basically a duplicate of bug 575182 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 575182 *** |
