Maintenance team: can we add those two patches to gdm in 11.3? Note: we might want a backport of http://git.gnome.org/browse/gdm/commit/?id=cdc8f37268 too, to add a disconnect button for remote clients. +1 yes, an update is reasonable; Vincent, we should pick up all fixes (comment #5) ;-) The SWAMPID for this issue is 35787. This issue was rated as low. Please submit fixed packages until 2010-10-12. Also create a patchinfo file using this link: https://swamp.suse.de/webswamp/wf/35787 no one against, so update started. I submitted the patch with the change for bug 633655 (in sr#48181), where the patchinfo should be handled by the security team, as far as I understand. What should I do with the patchinfo here? I've included the bug number in the patchinfo for the security update. Update released for: gdm, gdm-branding-upstream, gdm-debuginfo, gdm-debugsource, gdm-lang, gnome-applets-gdm, gnome-applets-gdm-debuginfo Products: openSUSE 11.3 (debug, i586, x86_64) @all: Looks like the patch for comment #5 didn't land. Confirmed that XDMCP is working again with this patch, but #5 gives you a disconnect button so that users can disconnect from the authentication screen and return back to the previous login screen on thin clients. rpm -q --changelog gdm-2.30.2-6.1.1.x86_64 * Mon Sep 13 2010 vuntz@opensuse.org - Add gdm-fix-dbus-properties.patch: org.gnome.DBus.Properties was referenced instead of org.freedesktop.DBus.Properties in the dbus configuration. Fix bnc#633655. - Add gdm-xdmcp-fixes.patch to fix connection with XDMCP. Fix bnc#637069. This is an autogenerated message for OBS integration: This bug (637069) was mentioned in https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/48181 11.3:Test / gdm |
