I'm using the german keyboard layout on my openSUSE 11.3 but the layout is not enabled within the initial ramdisk.
So the default english layout is used while asking for the password of my encrypted root disk. If an user does not know this and uses a non-trivial password he is not able to unlock his system. :-(

Please set the layout proper or give at least a hint to the user.
