Description Matthias Hopf 2005-01-18 23:20:21 UTC
Rendering points with vertex programs enabled is completely broken.

Find a glut test case attached. On rare occasions it core dumps for me,
I haven't found out why and I do not get a reasonable stacktrace.
Anyway, I have seen this behaviour before with other applications.
The green points are drawn w/o vertex programs, the red ones w/ vertex
programs enabled. They should look identically.

Haven't tried this with Windows (should compile easily), but this would
be worth a try.

Adding myself to all bugs related to fglrx to maintain awareness. Sorry for the
churn on some of the bugs.
Comment 5 Stefan Dirsch 2005-04-08 21:09:46 UTC
Matthias, could you please check whether this problem still exist with
8.12.10?

Problem persists.

Comment 9 Bob Lewis 2006-06-13 15:55:13 UTC
Does this bug still exist on SLED 10 RC 2.5?
Comment 10 Matthias Hopf 2006-06-13 18:27:34 UTC
This has nothing to do with SLED, but with the fglrx driver. Will have to test the newest driver (maybe tomorrow).
Comment 11 Matthew Tippett 2006-06-13 19:08:46 UTC
Please note that this has been recorded in ATI bug 168851
Comment 12 Stefan Dirsch 2006-06-15 11:04:10 UTC
Since this might get fixed by accident in a newer driver release setting to NEEDINFO.
Comment 13 Matthias Hopf 2006-06-27 09:26:40 UTC
Works fine on a X1600 (RV530 71C2) with 8.26.18 now, thanks a lot :-)
