Description Christoph Thiel 2005-01-19 01:29:02 UTC
Using Composite with the latests fglrx driver on
2.6.10-200501141727330000-default (kotd) renders fglrx inactive, somehow.
Removing the Composite extentions from my xorg.conf fixed the problem for me on
my Thinkpad T41p.

<!-- SBZ_reproduce  -->
Add

  Option "Composite" "Enable"

to Extentions in your xorg.conf

Please do not directly assign Bugs to Matthew Tippett, he is not working at
SuSE!
Please assign to the component owner (Stefan), otherwise we will not know about
the bugs and they won't get fixed.

ATI is not using this bugzilla extensively. Bugs are assigned to Matthew by the
SuSE Xorg team only for tracking purpose.
Comment 3 Christoph Thiel 2005-01-25 23:56:10 UTC
Ok, I'll take that into consideration next time...
Comment 4 Stefan Dirsch 2005-02-11 02:06:27 UTC
This is an enhancement. ATI is aware of this problem.
Comment 5 Matthew Tippett 2005-02-23 14:35:51 UTC
Adding my self - correct spelling.
Comment 6 Stefan Dirsch 2005-03-01 20:53:16 UTC
Assigning this to Matthew now ...
Comment 7 Stefan Dirsch 2005-04-08 21:21:10 UTC
Christoph, could you please check whether this problem still exists with
8.12.10?

Comment 8 Christoph Thiel 2005-04-09 07:48:53 UTC
Sorry, my notebook isn't available right now - as soon as I get it back, I'll
check "Composite" with fglrx.
