Description Marcus Meissner 2005-02-21 13:10:15 UTC
There is a kernel advisory from redhat reported a problem
with the outs instruction on AMD64 systems.

Andi, do you know something about this?

CAN-2005-0204

Comment 4 Andreas Kleen 2005-02-22 17:10:52 UTC
We already discussed this. The problem happens only because they did some
incorrect changes in their 4/4 patch. For some reason they managed to break
x86-64 with that patch too. On SUSE or mainline the problem doesn't exist.
Comment 5 Marcus Meissner 2005-02-22 17:13:15 UTC
ok, thanks! (CAN number was not in bugzilla yet, so this is good as reminder)
