1. install OS 11.4 with Gnome
2. start system
3. login as regular user
4. launch terminal
5. su root, enter password
6. zypper in something
7. you will get a lot of these:
GLib-GIO:ERROR:gdbusconnection.c:2279:initable_init: assertion failed: (connection->initialization_error == NULL)

same problem for me -- but I don't need that "zypper in something" step at all:-(
