Description Bernhard Wiedemann 2011-10-12 08:35:44 UTC
systemd is now used by default in Factory everywhere.

When doing a default KDE install, on first reboot, sysV is used as can be seen in
http://openqa.opensuse.org/viewimg/opensuse/testresults/openSUSE-NET-x86_64-Build0346/standstill-1.png

also for some reason this hangs in stopping network
Comment 2 Frederic Crozat 2011-10-14 13:04:51 UTC
we switched handling of default init to using symlink, so it should be consistent now.

Coolo, can you confirm ?
Comment 3 Stephan Kulow 2011-10-15 04:52:14 UTC
It should be less fragile now - if sysvinit will work in your tests I can't say of course. But it won't be used by random anyomre
