Description Ralf Haferkamp 2011-10-19 09:19:44 UTC
Installing 12.1 Beta (and current Factory) using the network-iso does not work on my Thinkpad W500 using WiFi, because when the system is booted in the 2nd Stage is fails to load the Firmware for the builtin WiFi card and wait infinitely for the device to come up.

This is because the kernel-firmware package was not installed automatically.

this is because the new rpm broke the supplements hack of kernel-firmware ;(

Can we please find a more static way that is more reliable?
Comment 2 Stephan Kulow 2011-10-27 09:19:46 UTC
