Description Jared Allen 2005-03-16 18:03:03 UTC
Customers who have previewed iFolder Denali have indicated that the
abundant use of Red suggests that there is something wrong going on.
Linux and Windows both use red as an indicator of a critical issue - thus
it is indistinguisable from other system or application specific error
events or indicators.

------- Additional Comments From jpallen@novell.com 2005-02-08 12:42:01 ----

I think we should keep it red. Waiting for Trent to resolve.

------- Additional Comments From tbadger@novell.com 2005-02-08 18:34:18 ----

We'll leave red at least for Beta 1 and get feedback on them.
However, they should be revised for FCS.

------- Additional Comments From jpallen@novell.com 2005-02-08 19:25:36 ----

I want to make the decision and the change before public beta. I
don't want to change colors after public beta.

------- Additional Comments From tbadger@novell.com 2005-02-08 19:56:31 ----

agreed - I really did mean public beta - we should be near FCS by then
anyway.

Comment 1 Jared Allen 2005-03-18 00:08:33 UTC
Some progress has been made. We have non-red icons throughout all the clients,
however I don't believe the icons are final. I will move this to RC1.
Comment 2 Forgotten User D9X-bZ3Wq4 2005-04-29 14:59:38 UTC
The icons for all platforms need to be updated to the current icon set. There
should be NO RED icons left in any of the product interfaces at FCS. This
should be non-destructive, and therefore should be approved for FCS. All icons
should be reviewed and approved by PM for release.

toolbar icons for Windows client

these icons resolve the extra 'white' ghosting around the windows toolbar
icons.
Comment 4 Forgotten User D9X-bZ3Wq4 2005-05-10 20:48:12 UTC
updated toolbar icons for Windows client to remove the ghosting white color
around the toolbar icons.
Comment 5 Jared Allen 2005-05-10 20:50:31 UTC
Bruce, please update your icons with these that Trent has provided. Once you
are finished, put a note in the bug and reassign back to Trent so we can make
sure the other clients are in sync. Thanks.
Comment 6 Bruce Getter 2005-05-10 21:43:43 UTC
The updated toolbar icons have been checked in for the Windows Client.
Reassigning back to Trent so he can make sure the other clients are up-to-date.

ifolders in imanager

need to replace ifolder icons with correct images.
Comment 8 Forgotten User D9X-bZ3Wq4 2005-05-11 21:28:18 UTC
Images for iFolders in imanager are still showing RED!!!! These need to be
replaced.
Comment 9 Scott Reeves 2005-05-11 22:18:13 UTC
This has already been fixed and checked in. Unfortunately it did not make RC2.
If you use (not sure exactly but at least todays) the 5/11 build it should
show them properly.
Comment 10 Bruce Getter 2005-05-11 23:11:28 UTC
Mike found that SimiasApp.exe was still using one of the old red iFolder icons
so I replaced it with a generic application icon.
Comment 11 Forgotten User D9X-bZ3Wq4 2005-05-12 19:08:55 UTC
Linux trayapp animation different than Windows - Windows is using correct
image/animation. Need to know image format required for animation on Linux - Trent
Comment 12 Jared Allen 2005-05-25 17:40:31 UTC
Trent thinks this is fixed, but we're moving to SP1 to allow for a more detailed
review.
Comment 13 Forgotten User D9X-bZ3Wq4 2006-08-14 19:59:34 UTC
no longer on project
Comment 14 Sujatha Narasimhan 2007-10-17 06:17:38 UTC
In 3.6 we moved to non-red ifolder icons. Closing the bug. Please reopen if necessary.
