This page does not change ANYTHING in LDAP. This page contains only information that the iFolder server will use to contact LDAP. Essentially this page is directly equivalent to a login prompt. On the login prompt you specify where and what to login as. If you enter your password wrong the sync does not change your password in LDAP, it rejects the connection attempt, same as a login prompt. This will be called out explicitly as soon as we get the help from documentation (should be soon). Even if we wanted to, the iFolder server does not have rights to modify any LDAP object. due to the rights issue in ldap this defect cannot be fixed |
