That's true, however in standard configuration the xterm title is restored by bash PS1. Restored to what? What about recursive calls to xterm-title-setting applications? (well, only "mc" known ATM) In standard configuration, PS1 is this: \[\e[1m\e[31m\]\h:\w # \[\e[0;10m\] WHERE does it restore the title!? please look at the ppwd () function in /etc/bash.bashrc Bug is solved in 11.3 KDE 4.5, the widow title is changing back to current path. I'll close bug as fixed, but if there is some environment where it still exist, please reopen it with more details and change Product from 11.0 to that version. |
