Description Jan Engelhardt 2005-05-10 12:01:42 UTC
MC does not set the Xterm title back to what it was before when exiting out of
mc.
Comment 1 Vladimir Nadvornik 2005-05-23 09:23:09 UTC
That's true, however in standard configuration the xterm title is restored by
bash PS1.
Comment 2 Jan Engelhardt 2005-09-10 10:39:32 UTC
Restored to what? What about recursive calls to xterm-title-setting
applications? (well, only "mc" known ATM)
Comment 3 Jan Engelhardt 2008-10-23 13:47:35 UTC
In standard configuration, PS1 is this:

\[\e[1m\e[31m\]\h:\w # \[\e[0;10m\]

WHERE does it restore the title!?
Comment 4 Vladimir Nadvornik 2009-06-19 13:34:20 UTC
please look at the ppwd () function in /etc/bash.bashrc

Bug is solved in 11.3 KDE 4.5, the widow title is changing back to current path.

I'll close bug as fixed, but if there is some environment where it still exist, please reopen it with more details and change Product from 11.0 to that version.
