As test for upgrade I changed the repositories from 12.3 -> 13.1 and upgraded a standard 12.3 in a Virtualbox to 13.1 RC1 using 'zypper dup'
Result: After installation of package rtkit-0.11_git201205151338-5.2.1 the installation hangs, but the system can still be used. Another shell cant be opened :
Achtung: Das Programm „/bin/bash“ mit den Argumenten „/bin/bash“ kann nicht gestartet werden.

I have frozen the VM for the moment, let me know what logs you need.

- Please attach the zypper logfile /var/log/zypper.log. 
- 'zypper dup' also creates a solver testcase in /var/log/updateTestcase-<DATE>. Please tar and attach your testcase as well.

OK; thanks for letting me know. The VM is in fact frozen, I cant get the data out....
