Hi Chris, would you please kindly help to have a look at here? Thank you! Yep, the systemd script should reset the status just before starting. Fixed in server:database:mariadb. (In reply to Christos Gourdoupis from comment #2) > Yep, the systemd script should reset the status just before starting. > > Fixed in server:database:mariadb. I've installed a new 13.2 system just recently, including update - I still see the message. As I said I commited a fix in the build service at server:database:mariadb. However I can see that it has been already overwritten there. Since I don't know how to use their git based system of development there, and I am not interested to learn either, I reopen the bug, reassign it, and remove myself from the list of maintainers in the build service because it doesn't mean anything anyway. Please attach the patch to this report, so it does not get lost. This is now fixed in submission to Factory https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/313691. We will create maintenance request for all supported products in cca 14 days from factory inclusion, so we get some test coverage. Feel free to reopen this if the problem is still happening for you If you try version from server:database. openSUSE-SU-2015:1216-1: An update that fixes 28 vulnerabilities is now available. Created attachment 620581 [details] optput of rcmysql status ofter a successful rcmysql start and stop The script /usr/lib/mysql/rcmysql fails to call rc_reset to init $_rc_status to 0. Since this status variable is only updated if an error occurs, $_rc_status remains undefined if no error occurs and this will result in "Something went wrong" instead of "Everything is Ok" as status message. Calling rc_reset e.g. in line 103 of the script solved the problem for me.
