update error when clicking in KDE software update widget

When I click on a item in the list shown by the KDE software update widget I get an update error (see attached screenshot). My intention was to select the respective item in the list (not to uncheck it) in order to see a description (which is not shown). Btw, scrolling with the up or down keyboard keys through the list of items is not possible.

That's a known (and quite old) problem with PackageKit (and its zypp backend).

Workaround: increase the "ShutdownTimeout" value in /etc/PackageKit/PackageKit.conf.
But then PackageKit will block zypper/YaST for a longer time.
(that's why it is set to 15 seconds in openSUSE in the first place...)
