I applied todays updates openSUSE-2016-287 and openSUSE-2016-284

Now, on login to KDE/Plasma 5, the progress bar takes longer than usual during startup.  And when it reaches around 50%, the screen fades.  I'm left with a blank screen, nothing showing.

This has happened on two different computers.

Computer 1:  purchased in 2007.  Nvidia graphics, amd processor.  Using the Nvidia G02 driver.

Computer 2:  purchased in 2014.  Intel graphics (Haswell), core 3 processor.
