Bugzilla – Bug 102945
no second network card are configurable
Last modified: 2005-08-10 11:00:46 UTC
when i like to config a second network card, I can't, only the first is configurable ? when i go to the second card for config, the ethernet ID from the first is in the box and a window is opened, with the card is configured ? yast don't found the ethernet ID from the second card ? when i copy a config (from 9.3) for the second card, the ethernet ID is correct?
Created attachment 45232 [details] the YaST2 Logs the loags from ethernet config
Ugh. My fix of bug 98852 was wrong. (I errorneously discarded the mapping from the list of unconfigured cards to the list of all cards.) A workaround is to configure all cards in the reverse order: from the last to the first.
Fixed in SVN, will be in yast2-network-2.12.9.

I have built a fixed package early because this is a quite annoying bug: http://www.suse.de/~mvidner/RPMS/yast2-network-2.12.9-0.i586.rpm
