Description Stanislav Brabec 2005-08-10 14:52:09 UTC
After upgrade to beta1, system freezes randomly, while reading web and compiling
packages.

After freeze, mouse pointer moves, but applications don't react, ssh is not
possible.

Syslog contains absolutely nothing.

I have experienced 4 crashes in a day. After degrading kernel to version from
preview4, system seems to be stable again.

Hardware: AMD64, SATA disc.

I can switch to new kernel back and try to use serial console, SysRq etc. to be
able to submit some details.
Comment 1 Andreas Kleen 2005-08-15 14:11:41 UTC
Please connect a serial console or set up netconsole and try to capture
kernel output at the time of the crash.
