It would be nice to see a package of ejabberd into SUSE LINUX. 
 
ejabberd is a featurefull Jabber/XMPP server with next features: 
* GPL 
* easy-to-use web interface 
* good documentation 
* translations into 11 languages 
* simple configuration file 
* source is only 1.5MB 
* ejabberd 1.0 will be probably released in September 
* support for fault-tolerance and clustering 
* many built-in modules for features such as shared roster groups, groupchat, 
Publish-Subscribe 
* good community: chatroom, mailing list, website, forum, bugzilla,... 
* company providing commercial support for ejabberd available (Process-one) 
* virtual hosting support 
* IPv6 support 
* command line administration tool included (might be useful when integrating 
in Yast) 
* ODBC data storage support 
* internal, external, ODBC and LDAP authentication support
