Description James Ots 2005-08-10 23:29:29 UTC
At the start of installation, when it has the nice graphical blue screen and
says to press F2 for more details, there's nothing moving. I pressed F2 not
because I wanted to see the details, but because I thought my computer has
crashed. It would be useful to have some animation at that point, like it does
later on in the setup.
Comment 1 Marco Michna 2005-08-10 23:53:22 UTC
So I expect that you want to see at which point your keyboard starts to work?
Please elaborate.
Comment 2 Klaus Kämpf 2005-08-11 06:23:11 UTC
We had more animations in previous versions ...
Comment 3 James Ots 2005-08-11 08:20:55 UTC
Marco: No, I just wanted to see that something was happening - with such a long
wait with nothing happening on the screen it's difficult to tell if anything is
happening, but if there was some animation it would give a little peace of mind.
Comment 4 Michael Schröder 2005-08-11 10:34:26 UTC
AFAIK we never had animations at this point.
Comment 5 Steffen Winterfeldt 2005-08-11 16:03:47 UTC
buzzing and whirling like mad now
