The bottom left button/path navigation thing has a serious image scaling issue
with SMB shares that makes it look horrific :-)

Also - interestingly if you apply a large custom image eg. desktop background to
a folder, we then get a 'broken icon' image for that directory in the shortcuts
instead of a nice (suitably sized) thumbnail.
