Bugzilla – Bug 104084
Wrong languagecode and lacking translation when selecting 'Dansk' at installation boot prompt.
Last modified: 2005-08-11 14:11:20 UTC
It seems that the environmental variables get set to 'ds', not 'da' or 'da_DK' which is what they should be... I believe 'da_DK' would be the proper version, seeing as Sweden has 'sv_SE' set.... Selecting 'Dansk' at this prompt also didn't select the proper settings for Denmark in 9.3 for me... Suggestions for text on the boot screen: Loading Linux Kernel : Indlæser Linuxkernen Boot From Harddisk: Start fra harddisk Installation: Installation / Begynd installation Installation - APIC disable : -||- uden APIC Installation - Safe Settings: Fejlsikret installation Rescue System: Redningssystem Memory Test: Hukommelsestest (RAM) I *think* this is easily fixed but probably haven't bugged anyone enough to file a bugreport previously ;) It would be quite cool to see it actually work. I tried the Spanish version just to see what would happen and the instsaller spoke Spanish, the locale was in Spanish, everything you would expect... I hope that is possible with Danish as well without too much extra work.
I'm not sure if we could provide the translation of this menu (adddin translators to CC), but the language code should be set correctly -> Steffen
Yes, was a typo. Fixed. I don't have Dansk translations, though. So, if anyone volunteers...
The translation issue was moved to bug #104124
