Bugzilla – Bug 104420
GIMP Help is missing !
Last modified: 2005-09-12 15:27:36 UTC
OS: SuSE Linux 10.1 BETA1 The GIMP-help RPM package is missing, which results in a non-documented GIMP software package. I wish this to be fixed for BETA2. -Fenix*NBK*. 12.aug.2005.
gimp-help package exists and is approved for distribution. It is a problem of medium creation. Andreas, please re-assign it to proper person.
There's no space on the CDs, it's part of the FTP tree.
Very bad behavior. The end-user would think that there is no GIMP-help file at all, and that SuSE Linux is broken! Please either add help-file, or remove The GIMP completely to the extra packages.
As I said: Please either add help-file, or remove The GIMP completely to the extra packages. bug reopened.
In BETA3 the prblem remains !!!! However, now *there is* enough CD space to include gimp-help files ! please fix it.
Packages are growing more and more and we need that space for other stuff, I cannot fullfill this request right now.
OK, now the RC1 is out, and there are about 150 MB on CD5 free, I hope you can add this package now, to make SuSE Linux 10 a solid operating system with solid help, without serious holes such as this one.
We've added it for the OSS goldmaster.
